This week has gone by in the blink of an eye! There has been so many things to occupy my time both boring domestic duties and also exciting craft play.
On Monday I met one of my crafty buddies while I was out and about and we decided to get together for a fairly impromptu bit of 'play time' on Wednesday evening at my house, along with another chum, who happily was free to join us.
With very little time to plan a project for us to do - I really did leave it until the last minute, mid afternoon on Wednesday I made the card shown below in about 20 minutes.
The main image is a single stamp and is stamped with Versafine black ink and heat embossed with clear powder. The colour was applied with the very fine brushes that come with the Cosmic Shimmer acrylic drawing inks, then die cut using the co-ordinating die, that cuts around the butterflies but leaves the image in the card. The project was finished by mat and layering and a sentiment added from my stash.
Now, I know this isn't a masterpiece but I wanted my friends to see the concept of some new stuff I had just bought and to have a chance to play with it - we always share!
It is a new range of dies and stamps from Chloe's Creative Cards. The stamps and dies used on this card are 'Butterfly Arch' but I had also purchased JAN059 3D Flower, both the stamps and the die set and JAN060 3D Flower Border Builder, so there was plenty to choose from for our cards.
We had a lovely evening, with lots of crafting paraphernalia covering the dining room table; the die cutting machine, guillotine, a pile of assorted cardstock and a heat gun spread across the counter in the kitchen and last but not least an endless supply of tea and home made cakes.......we certainly know how to craft!
That's it from me for now - thank you for dropping by today,

Stamping is my first love and I couldn't resist these lovely stamps from Chocolate Baroque when I saw them a couple of years ago.
I have stamped the background image with black Versafine ink and then cut a square from the centre. This inner square has been coloured using a combination of watercolour paints and pencils and placed on a slightly larger mat of black card, then positioned over the original stamped image which I have left as black and white.
I have stamped and cut out the words and a honey bee that has been coloured and a bit of sparkle added to the wings, although I don't think this shows up very well in the photo. These additional pieces have been mounted on to the card using foam pads. Finally I've mounted the whole thing on to another mat of black card.
All the stamps used are from Chocolate Baroque and are called 'Big Bold Background Belle Flowers Single' and 'Honey Bee.'

If you like Leonie's products, as I am sure you do, then don't miss the One Day Special on Hochanda TV that began this evening and continues throughout tomorrow with shows at 9am, 12pm, 4pm and 7pm.
It features some of her Entwined range of stamps and dies and there is also a selection of her masks and stencils with some really super price reductions.
Here are a couple of samples that I have made using some of these products.
The first sample incorporates dies, stamps, mask and stencil from across the range of products available.
The second sample is made using dies from the Funky Heart Base set with the addition of the word 'My' from the Funky Heart Interlocking Love die set.
For some great demonstrations, check out the shows on the telly or online at Hochanda via their T.V. Schedule using the rewind facility.
More inspiration can also be found on Leonie's Design Team Blogs - you can find the links on my sidebar.

Before I launch into the details of the project I am posting today, I would like to welcome my new followers and thank you for leaving such kind comments. It would be lovely if you will continue to follow my Blog as I hope it will develop as we progress through 2017.
The card I am showing today has been created using stamps from Leonie Pujol's Entwined Stamp Collection - Dizzy Daisy and is available to purchase from Crafter's Companion
It is actually a very simple card that took me ages to make! I have only used 3 small stamps from the collection for the main element of the card. Firstly I stamped the full daisy head in a circle and then an inner circle with the smaller daisy head and a spray of leaves. I then stamped the full daisy head several times on a scrap of card and fussy cut each one to decoupage over those already stamped in a circle - and that's the part that took me so long as I am not very speedy with a pair of scissors! The colouring has been done with alcohol markers and the sentiment created using two stamps from the same collection. Simple mat and layering to finish.
I will be back next week with another project.
Meanwhile, thank you for visiting me today.
